I have to ask how smart is someone wasting their vote (like on Ralph Nader, Jill Stein, et. al.) that for all intents and purposes acts as a spoiler against someone, while not perfect, is still more aligned with their interests?
Keeping your dignity and high minded ideals are nice but at the end of the day it won't buy you a cup of coffee and you get Trump as your President. Brilliant.
If a majority of people thought like myself instead of like you we would not have been stuck with choosing either Clinton or Trump. We would have had several legitimate options. But as long as people do as they are told and vote either GOP or Democrat history will keep repeating itself with two bad options.
Trump is the ultimate elitist in my view. He is a billionaire, a very elite group of people. Who does these people socialize with, I'm sure it's not the average joe type. They don't live in a world of everyday people, they live and socialize among other very wealthy people, the movers and shakers, and people with clout. They have their own private jets to take them anywhere in the world. people cater to these people, Trump himself is an elitist. He most definitely have that elitist attitude that he is the greatest, and that he is beyond reproach.
Just imagine how this would have gone if some of the battleground states were not so heavily gerrymandered.
We need a serious look at this at the federal level.
I don't care which party does the gerrymandering. It's wrong.
Speaking of a lack of education, how on earth could you think gerrymandering tipped the electoral college to Trump? Was it a "lack of education" on your part?

It's called the legislative branch? You know the other of the 2 branches? Should be a constitutional exam requirement to vote.
The only thing I see between Trump's reelection is his health or some climactic event like a war....otherwise, he wipes out any Dim in 2020.
But you don't know that, you absolutely don't know that, you can only speculate. You are totally speaking with your heart in this. At the rate of this weekly drama, Americans of all stripes are going to be sick and tired and burn out of all this mess. He have done nothing to expand his party, he speaks mostly to his base.
