Wrong, because medicine is 100% labor intensive, so there are no economies of scale, and productivity can't be increased. So the only way prices would go down to affordable levels would be for doctors to work for like $12/hr, and that simply isn't going to happen!
Not true at all. Health care productivity is increasing all the time and will continue to do so. Labor is only about 50% of health care costs.

What are you talking about? Surgery and other medical procedures not only require a human, but a doctor can only work on one patient at a time. Therefore there is a productivity limit.
With manufactured goods, you can create an assembly line with all types of machines, working on multiple products at once. That isn't possible with healthcare

There are examples of assembly line health care and or surgeries. Limited of course.
We focus a lot on politics here, but I have to say....biggest threats? Certainly not terrorism, or liberals. LOL. What nonsense, nothing that either does is that much of a real threat. C rime is at all time lows, and drugs? Please. The war on drugs did more damage.
AI and automation. Capitalism will fail us once these really take hold. And that is not a good thing for us. We are unprepared to deal with it. Capitalism is the most successful way to do things in the world, and I think AI and automation will change that. And once that happens a lot of really bad things will occur until we figure it out.
Totally agree. We need to concentrate on what work will look like for our grand babies.
If we don't income inequality, unemployment, poverty (and in its wake-crime) will destroy us
