When I saw "gay fries" I thought it would be something much more interesting. A rainbow container - big whoop. Kids won't even know what it's about; they'll just like the colors.
Good grief, who cares what color they are. Kids could care less. As parents, it's our responsibility to teach our kids....kindness, love, acceptance and understanding for those who are different. This is why we still have prejudice in this world because parents don't do that. They teach their kids their prejudices. You see it as a marketing ploy, your kids don't. So just get over it and let your kid enjoy their fries
Some people are sexually attracted to animals. Should we teach kindness, acceptance and understanding for them? After all, it's only a different kind of sexual orientation. They can't help being born that way, right?
How is that any different than telling me to accept homosexuality as a normal part of life?

At least you are acknowledging that homosexuality is not a "choice". Good start.
And while sex with animals is illegal, being gay is not.
You are free to choose to be intolerant and even fixate on things that have nothing to do with you.
Fact is that gay people have been around since the beginning of written history, so whether YOU accept it or not is entirely irrelevant to what is "normal" in nature. Choosing to apply rules differently to people who have no choice goes to your character.

Yep. I was in the grocery store yesterday and saw rainbow bagels. It never even occurred to me that they were for gay pride. I just thought, "My kids would think these are fun." Or maybe, they didn't have anything to do with gay pride at all, lol.

I'm thinking goat humpers are not exactly a modern invention.
Pretty sure 90% of people who even eat McD could care less what type of packaging or color the food was. Fast food eaters ignore the health warnings of fast food, so you think they would care about this?
