what Trump said according to Comey's statement. This will generate several hysterical news cycles.

For you democrats, no hope for impeachment based on Trump collusion with Russia. As many of us said, there is no evidence of that and apparently still no evidence of that.

Now it's the Scooter Libby, Martha Stewart obstruction of justice angle.

That's bad news, for those hoping this is the nail in Trump's coffin, because those cases started with the big stuff (outing a spy-Libby/insider trading - Stewart) before it went to obstruction of justice.

They are starting there with Trump. You can take what he said many ways, most of which are benign.

1. Trump demands loyalty from Comey. Comey says no, you get honesty.
2. Trump fires Comey.
3. Trump brags to Russians, I fired him, man, that relieved the Russian investigation pressure.

Any rational, clear-thinking human being not blinded by partisanship would come to the conclusion that Trump tried to obstruct justice.

All irrelevant. The President cannot be charged with a crime. All that can be done is to impeah him. And that decision is up to the House and Senate. So no he cannot be charged with obstruction of justice. It is impeachment or nothing. At this point nothing is the obvious choice.

But Trump will keep trying.

Clearly, you are neither rational nor clear thinking.

That is an outright lie.

The Russian ambassador confirmed that they didn't discuss Comey.

Clearly you have drunk the Trump kool-aid. Trump's on video telling the Russians he fired Comey to relieve the pressure. You can deny reality if you want, it's a free country.

Ha ha ha. You will be sorely disappointed.

Wrong. It's on the official White House transcript; Spicer did not deny the report when directly asked about it. And what the Russian ambassador said afterwards is not credible.

He can't obstruct justice. The Constitution gives the President the authority to pardon anyone. If you have the authority to pardon someone at the end of the process, you're not obstructing anything if you intervene earlier.

How many times have you said things here and made predictions starting from pre-election and been wrong and sorely disappointed every time with the outcome? You need to check who's not living in reality.
