But Comey later announced that he will testify that he told trump that he was not personally under investigation.

This is an on going investigation. You don't start at the top, you start at the little people and go from there. Do you think the Watergate investigation would go right to Nixon. Of course not. You need evidence and start at the bottom. This no way clears Trump. It only clears him for now.

Comey's statement only says he isn't under counter-intelligence investigation. It never says he isn't under fraud or money laundering investigation.

It will be #realnews when Trump issues a retraction of his false claim that "Obama illegally wiretapped Trump tower" or that Obama "signed an executive order taking your guns away" or that "a 2 year old got autism a week after being vaccinated".

If Trump were to issue a single retraction of ANYTHING that would be a red letter day! Of course, when you are never wrong, you never have to issue retractions. And EVERYONE knows that is plausible.
