It is interesting to watch how Trump's fans demand again and again proof that there was Russian involvement. They demand that it be shown again and again.
What they are doing is trying to claim there is no proof simply because we get tired of replying.

You jumped from 'if not charged' to 'and again, criminal charges are not necessary for impeachment' but you want us to believe the two weren't connected.
You used some form of the word 'charged' twice and referenced how criminal charges wouldn't be necessary in order to impeach during a discussion where WaldoKitty said Trump has been vindicated.
We all know what you meant no matter how many times you try and spin it now.

Again you have to read what the words say not what you think they say.
My point has been exactly the same right along if you pay attention. There is no requirement for criminal charges to impeach. And further no charges have been laid against Trump that would stick criminally. But that in no way prevents him from being impeached.

So you got to be alleged to have done something bad or been blamed for something. Trump does not appear to have done anything wrong. So how can he be freed from that which does not exist.
He is however impeachable. that is because impeachment simply requires that the Congress disapproves sufficiently of you or your actions.

I believe all officers of the appointed levels submit resignations January 20th or can be required to. See no reason why this does extend to Comey. So he is effectively hired on January 20th if still there with no other arrangements made. At that point he is Trump's guy not Obama's.
And it is clear that Comey did not trust Trump...and for cause.
Comey got in too deep with the whole Hilary thing 8 days before election. Trump calls his "buddy" in asking for "loyalty" and Comey knows that is too deep.
Comey says no and is fired.
Now they are arguing about pissey somantics. Your boss calls you into his office and asks everyone to leave and closes the door. He asks for "loyalty". He does not "demand" it, just a "friendly request". If you say no, you know you are toast. Trump is coming from private industry, that's how it works. Period.
Now, the whole thing about Tapes probably means there is something that NEITHER side wants to go public. Bets are on the Hilary thing. Trump is threatening Comey on something that may get them both in trouble.
Otherwise, if there was NOTHING that could get Trump in trouble, he would have submitted it already. If there is nothing that could get Comey in trouble, then (chances are) he wouldn't be threatening it.
Whether there are tapes or not, I think that both have something that they would rather not have public during that meeting.
