I stay away from that channel but when I was channel surfing and saw he was coming up next, I stuck around to view it.

Now I get the 'deer in the headlights' look someone referenced the other day. I have to say, I like how he handled the discussion with the young woman he was debating.

I guess we can forgive her her youth - because she had no good reason for wanting safe spaces for Muslims when he challenged her.

Posting here for anyone else who isn't familiar with him.

The entire world should be a safe space. Nobody should be assault for what they say unless what they say calls for an imminent unlawful action.

I enjoy TC and catch him a couple times a week. He's usually quite polite and non-interruptive of his guests and mild in response to them. He doesn't suffer fools though, and when guests can't back up their positions with strong answers and data he will mock and marginalize the ever-loving crap out of them.

At 4:40 did she say she was a black ***** woman? Wow, someone is seriously confused, and that confusion has absolutely nothing to do with her color or her sexuality.

I think a lot of muslim men may be about to suffer a "sexual emergency".

She did say that, and also that she converted to Islam two years ago. What American lesbian would convert to Islam? It boggles the mind.

On another note, it's funny that the word that Q stands for in LGBTQ is automatically censored on this site. They reclaimed the word and now it should be allowed.

lifeexplorer - I agree with that.

Nor Cal Wahine - I was surprised that he was balanced and didn't go on the attack. It was refreshing. I may tune in again to see what he has to say.

ditchlights - yes, she's a black gay woman, so I don't quite get how she thought being a Muslim was a good fit, but to each her own.

katygirl - the censoring here is a head-scratcher. Some things get through that probably shouldn't and other things that have an innocent meaning don't get through. It can make things interesting....lol.

It does make things interesting. I'm not against the censorship, but I find it funny that they've reclaimed the word.

I know why she converted. It's probably more Nation of Islam than the Islam of the Middle East. They're probably not as harsh in their treatment of women, being Americans and all. Either that or she likes being part of "marginalized" groups, and she's apart of the holy trinity of marginalized groups now.

There's a safe space for Muslims called Mecca. It's in Saudi Arabia. Please, by all means, go there. You are even called to make the pilgrimage if possible, by Islamic dictate. Just stay there and be safe. Thanks!

I do watch "him" and enjoy his show, his style, his preparation and intelligence, and sometimes cringe to see him go off the rails or get owned by folks who are on their game.

So when I saw this piece coming up, I fast forwarded through it not once but twice because I'm sick of it, didn't want to watch it.

But since you brought it here, I watched it.

She is an embarrassment to women, Muslims, black folks, and Americans.

I'm sorry I watched it, but proud of Tucker Carlson on how he handled it. Had she proved to be a real Muslim, he could have asked her some questions about how safe spaces are relevant wrt Muslim women when discussing the topic of the fair treatment of women.

America has made huge strides on this topic since the 1970s from what I've seen. Seriously.

Now the first thing I'd ask of Muslims is why female genitalia mutilation? It's the same thing as circumcision is NOT an acceptable answer.

But anywho, he cut the interview short when he saw it had nothing to do with "safe spaces" for Muslims.

Oh.

I missed that.

I just wasted about 15 minutes of my life.

She'll need a safe space if the Sharia police hear that she's a ***** muslim.
She shouldda checked on their LGQBT policy before converting.
