Let's focus on taking back Congress in 2018, bringing more accountability to this administration and making sure, God forbid, Trump doesn't win re-election in 2020.

2020 will be Democrats' election to lose. Though Trump's popularity may tick upwards a bit, I don't see him ever becoming as popular as Bill Clinton, Obama, or George W Bush. He isn't as popular as the far right thinks he is. Trump will be judged on his record in 2020 and not his rhetoric. Simply being anti-PC won't be good enough. Dems need to focus on not only being anti-Trump, but also developing an alternative vision for the country. Something like a Democratic version of Newt Gingrich's "Contract with America" would be very fitting at this point in time.

When someone admits they are wrong they usually apologize and are humble.
