PM May got in on a populist, anti-immigrant wave ala DJT. In fact President Bonkers endorsed her and she was first world leader to come to the WH for a meet and greet after DJT was inaugurated.

She felt quite emboldened of late and called for a snap election because she figured she'd get a bigger majority and mandate by doing so, which would enable her to push her agenda.

Well.....seems as if there's some Buyer's Remorse in the UK. She is going to LOSE seats in Parliment, LOSE her majority. Some are calling for her resignation given today's initial results.

Too bad we don't have snap elections here in the US as I'm convinced there's a LOT of Buyer's Remorse in the US as well.

Latest: Election 2017: Tories to be largest party - exit poll - BBC News

Britain's Conservative Party will be the largest party but may not have a majority, says an exit poll after the UK's snap general election.
The survey taken at polling stations across the UK suggests the party could get 314 MPs when all the results have been counted in Thursday's poll.

If this holds - likely May stays as PM of a coalition government.

I did not vote for The Donald but you have to agree he is far more entertaining than Hillary.

PM may simply believes what her yes men were telling her. She stopped paying attention. The British voter's noticed. They also blamed her inattention for the terrorist attacks in Manchester and London after she claimed that they would never happen under a Tough Conservative Government.

I hope the labor candidate gains control of Parliament and takes the conservative route and restores British membership in the European Union. If nothing else that would really annoy the Russians that created the movement that resulted in Brexit.

I don't want an entertaining dunce as president.

I would prefer a boring sane one.

The entertaining clown can do way too much damage to be 'entertaining.'
