I would add that if the British elections are any indication, then he has cause to be worried. Seems like after seeing it play out elsewhere, people are rejecting the Nationalistic approach, and realizing that the sensationalism is not adding up to reality.
Considering his record so far I'm going to say no. You have to consider that the Democrats had Hillary Clinton up against him which was an dumb move on their part. And Trump still didn't win the popular vote despite all of Hillary's controversies.
The polling numbers are his death. Barring them suddenly recovering he is a one term president.
If they can recover by him acting like a president, and accomplishing positive things, I would be a happy camper. But just not seeing that happen.
LOL, polling numbers, seriously, the same "polling" that had Hillary winning by a landslide? I don't pay any attention at all to "polling" in any shape or form anymore.
The ONLY reason he is still in office is he can 'buy' himself staying there.
The only reason he is still in office is because it's too hard to fire him. If all the drama ever dies down, he'll just be a first term lame duck president; green and ineffective.
Do you think Trump will win a second term? Why or why not?
It doesn't even matter to me. If nothing else, the election of Trump has demonstrated to a very vocal minority that they are not quite the despotic dictators they thought they were, they don't have the control over others that they thought they did, and not everyone supports or even agrees with their toxic venom.
He'll be re-elected if the economy stays strong and he keeps us out of any wars.
