Trump won't rest until every ally has been harmed.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/06/w...abia.html?_r=0

WASHINGTON — President Trump thrust himself into a bitter Persian Gulf dispute on Tuesday, claiming credit for Saudi Arabia’s move to isolate its smaller neighbor, Qatar, which is a major American military partner.

“During my recent trip to the Middle East I stated that there can no longer be funding of Radical Ideology,” Mr. Trump said in a morning tweet. “Leaders pointed to Qatar — look!”

“So good to see the Saudi Arabia visit with the King and 50 countries already paying off,” the president said in a tweet. “They said they would take a hard line on funding...”

Qatar supports Iran, and is funding terrorism. Do we need an ally that supports terrorism? Obama thought so, Trump does not.

So why doesn't Trump make a statement himself about the USA not being an lly of Qatar?

A darn interesting article about our military base in Qatar:

Qatar hosts largest US military base in Mideast - CNN.com

The article notes that Qatar spent 1 billion dollars to construct our air base in the 1990s (which includes one of the longest runways in the Middle East).

I had not known this. Of course, we do seem to have military bases everywhere.

For those that accept the Saudi's word about Qatar funding terrorists (which may be true, for all I know), what of President Trump's stating that he was negotiating with Qatar to sell them more weapons?

I really haven't heard about Qatar, you may be right, but the Saudis are about the most repressive extremist radical Muslim country there is besides Pakistan, and they were responsible for 9/11!
Plus they are the dirt bags financing all these Mosques/terrorist recruiting centers in every free non-Islamist nation in the world, that's where their oil money goes, besides the partying of the Royals! Do you really want a President who cozies up to scum like them?

Plus, wasn't Mr. Back-stabber- 20-faces(not just 2-faced) all cozy with Qatar what a year ago? He'll brown-nose anyone, when it suits him, or he's been so easily conned!
