New York Governor Eliot Spitzer admitted today that he has been involved in an illegal prostitution ring. That's shameful, outrageous, and inexcusable.
My question: which, if any, other New York elected officials either knew, should have known, or avoided knowing about it?
Eliot Spitzer is a BIG Hillary campaigner BTW. I wonder what kind of connections will the press find between Eliot Spitzer and Hillary Clinton? Have Mr Spitzer's prostitution funds been used for Hillary's campaign?
What was his involvement? Was he a patron or a pimp? Either way 'tutin shouldn't be a crime between consenting adults, interesting none the less.
If he was a pimp, that could be trouble for Hillary because hes been a big campaigner for Hillary and im sure hes provided funds to her campaign. No wonder Hillary is so seceretive about where her funds come from

Back to the real topic, I find it interesting that this was the politician who was working hard to get driver's licenses and perqs for illegal aliens. If it turns out that illegal immigrants were used in this ring, look out!
We don't have the details right now. About 2:30 this afternoon the local news broke into regular programming. Apparently he was supposed to give a statement,but I'm still waiting. If I hear anything, I'll post what the Albany News is saying.

I find it sad that this guy campaigned here on ethics reform. We all really thought he was going to clean up Albany. First we had the Troopergate scandal. Now this! What a letdown!
Like your side hasnt done the same? Your side has tried to tie Obama with Farrakan and other.
There's no "tried to" about that -- it's very plain. Obama's self-declared mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is a big fan of Farrakhan and Obama's church gave Farrakhan an achievement award. Farrakhan himself endorsed Obama and Obama has had Nation of Islam members on his staff. If he was so bummed about the ties, he'd quit that church and he would have told Farrakhan NOT to speak on his behalf (and have Wright emphasize that point). Hey, if my church gave David Duke an award, I'd be out of there in a heartbeat. Any reasonable person would. And I wouldn't knowingly hire a member of the KKK if I had a personal staff!

Something really bad and damaging must be going down for Spitzer to admit his involvement right now. Very weird -- and very sad for the people of NY.
