Thats not privatization.

Sure, it's also not classic capitalism. But that's life in US. From the point of view of investors, why will they get involved if other investment channels are available? They also don't want to take risks. If a multi billion project fails, they'd rather have others take risks. Today the entire globe is open to investments. China of Brazil can yield better profits. I wouldn't wait for them to step in.

Really well then, coming from a Red State, the Stat and private business, that is of you are talking the government and a private Italian company are on in cahoots, everyone makes money, except the taxpayer.
May I ask, why is it you support things that are not in your best interests?

What tRump wants is what the GOP bosses have told him to want:

TOLL ROADS

Here in TX, one of the Pubs' favorite moves is turn public highways (built by tax dollars) into toll roads operated by their cronies.

Raise the fares high enough to cover operations and maintenance.
In that case, you'd have large swaths of the country inaccessible. Rural areas would dry up.

Your Boys fought them tooth and nail of them attempting anything and I am sure we can go back and find how you supported them in it, Hypocrisy sometimes forgets that history does not change because someone says just ignore the track record.
