Seems to be the pattern with the climate deniers. When they do manage to find a scientist willing to speak against climate science, it's someone who speaks outside of their area of expertise, and never with a published article in a respected journal with their findings.

That is Dr. Ivar Giaever. He's on the payroll of the Heartland Institute which tried to deny health risks of second-hand smoking for Philip Morris and lobbied against smoking bans. Now their objective is to deny global warming. They found this almost-dead Nobel Laureate to help them. Follow the money.
Climate Scientists? Is that like Political Scientists?
Climate Science is a pseudo-science like Anthropology, Economics, Medicine & Psychiatry, Psychology Political Science and Sociology.
Real Science is universal, observable, testable, repeatable and falsifiable.
Why did Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin make it back to Earth from the Moon?
Because of Science, not Scientific Consensus. Because Physics is real Science (universal, observable, testable, repeatable and falsifiable), the gravity of the Moon could be determined without ever having been on the Moon. And because Chemistry is a real Science, the proper chemicals could be selected to achieve combustion (universal, observable, testable, repeatable and falsifiable) to ensure the Lunar Module could lift off from the Moon.
Oh, and then there's the matter of Escape Velocity. Again, because real Science is universal, observable, testable, repeatable and falsifiable, scientists could predict exactly the escape velocities from Earth and Moon.
That's what real Science is all about: successfully making accurate predictions.
