Do you and don't you think that Russians meddling in our elections should be investigated and stopped?
Question is not what I think. I don't make inconsistent argument.
Question is how can there be Russians influencing election, but nobody is voting illegally?
Either the checks & balances are there or they are not.
So since you make it personal. Why do you think that Russians hacked election but there is no voter fraud such as the millions of illegals that voted for Hillary?

Why do you believe the only way to influence an election is to tamper with votes directly?
The White House doesn't believe in Russian hacking into our election, the US voter fraud is the one the are still in search of kind of like the Holy Grail.
Well, if the Russians didn’t “hack” the election, what did they do?
They sowed confusion and chaos, and there’s strong evidence (according to multiple intelligence agencies) that they ultimately sought to help Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. Their most infamous move was the theft of e-mails from the Democratic National Committee, which were likely passed to WikiLeaks before becoming the basis of a slow drip of damaging information about Clinton and the Democratic party released into the news cycle.
At the same time, Russia was allegedly using “trolls” and “bots” to impact the news cycle by creating artificial “surges” of commentary online. They also used propaganda outlets such as RT to try to affect the national debate, and intentionally tried to plant certain ideas and themes into the American electorate’s consciousness, including the notion that the election was “rigged” against Trump (a theme Trump himself picked up).

Your OP is totally illogical because 1) "millions of illegal" voting is just right-wing fake news propaganda with absolutely no basis in fact; 2) it is not that Russia hacked our election but it that they have attempted and are attempting to hack our election and influence our elections, and 3) the link between voter fraud and election hacking shows you have absolutely no understanding of what Russian hacking is meant to do. It is not to register illegals, as funny as that theory is, it is to wipe away votes and change votes via hacking.
So, your answer to my question is you do not think Russian meddling should be investigated.

If they could stop it why has it been going on for decades ? Obama knew about it and he didn't stop it.
Why not ? Meddling in the election happened on his watch. He has responsibility.
Some people here keep making this arguments day after day.
Russians have infiltrated and ruined the US Electoral System. Hillary Clinton lost Election because of it.
There is absolutely no voter fraud. Hillary Clinton did not popular vote because of it.
These positions are completely inconsistent, but maybe they have answer.
Why not have national Voter ID to stop Russians?
I doubt that anyone could explain anything to you that you would accept.
Can you cite people that are claiming that the Russians 'infiltrated and ruined the US Electoral System'?
Recall, there is no evidence that the Russian interference involved getting into any of the thousands of voting booths and changing votes. There is some suggestion that some Russian hackers may have attempted such, but with apparently no success. It is not like we have a 'national voting' system in place dependent on computers.
Rather, it was Russian hacking into the DNC and Podesta's computers, stealing the emails, conveying them to Wikileaks, which then began publishing them every day, beginning the day after Mr. Trump accepted the Republican nomination for the Presidency. By this method, seemingly, the Russians hoped to influence voters to vote for Mr. Trump, or against Ms. Clinton. Recall that Mr. Trump, at his rallies, constantly read out the stolen emails, 164 times during the last 30 days, for instance. It is also apparent that some 'fake' emails were included among the real emails.
I do not understand your second claim. "Hillary Clinton did not popular vote because of it".
However, it is clear that Ms. Clinton did 'win' the popular vote, by 2.85 million. Yet, she lost the all important electoral vote. While there may have been a handful of people attempting to vote twice (like that Republican woman in Dallas), there is certainly no evidence of the 'millions' of fraudulent votes claimed by Mr. Trump and his minions.
I seem to recall that last week Mr. Trump created a commission to look into his claim of massive voter fraud. I bet we never hear anything from them.
