And why is that a problem? Decriminalize marijuana. Problem solved. Why didn't Obama, Pelosi, Reid already do so?

Sessions would be an idiot to do this, just based on the economic consequences in Colorado alone. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if it passes and marijuana shops are shut down.

I also expect the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. If you haven't figured it out by now, the central banks are working in collusion to inflate asset prices, but they will eventually stop the liquidity injections, which will cause the market and other assets to implode.

What happens next? Global consolidation and the end of sovereignty. It's one big set up.

No, they can choose to not enforce certain Federal laws. They are not required to enforce Federal laws, like immigration, or pot. Previously the Federal government granted them the freedom, but now the Trump admin is cracking down, just like many here predicted.

One would hope that the pro-business side of the party would serve as counterweight to the moralist-crusader side. Often that very thing happens, since the moralist crusade is mere tactic to appeal to a certain segment of the populace. But perhaps sometimes a tactical retreat is necessary, and this might be one such case.

Haven't you received the memo? Any dysfunction, stupidity or overreach at the federal level is entirely and perpetually Obama's fault!

I figured he would go after recreational, but medical? 90% of Americans support medical marijuana. Dumb move, but the Christian Right will love it. Hallelujah! Amen!

They let the States decide. Here in Florida it is decided at County level, where Ft Lauderdale (Broward county), Miami (Dade County) and the Florida Keys have decriminalized it, while some more conservative counties still arrest people for possession. Medical pot was legalized, but the GOP state congress is not allowing it to happen.

And the Feds can go right in a raid them at any time they wish, just like the Obama admin did to a few states.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid could have decriminalized marijuana at the federal level. They chose to not do so.

Key word "LET". They can revoke that at any time.

That is what Trump admin is announcing. They will launch an all-out assault on pot shops.

Are you for, or against it?
