Time to prepare unprocessed foods? It takes almost no time if you eat simple basic foods. I put vegetables the electric steamer, turn the dial and 15 minutes or less later"ding" they are done. Who can't manage that?
I eat the cave man style diet with lots of fat. I also work out every day so my weight stays down. I work for a company of 15000 and in my building its 1500 and maybe, just maybe 10 of us use the gym. The phone jobs are mostly obese types. I'm ok with that since there is no wait for the gym equipment.
I see what they eat. They eat double what I do and don't work out. Simple math.
I can eat whatever I want so long as I'm active. When I get injured I cut back. Simple math.
Now that race is an open discussion in this thread, can you tell me why? It can't be socialism. The US is one of the least socialist countries in the world.
I already did... Food Stamps and the other government free food programs for the poor that duplicate/overlap, resulting in many poor people getting enough food for 6, 9, or more meals each per day. Read the USDA and USDA OIG info I posted.
59% of the families on food stamps are getting free food benefits from 2 or more other government free food programs at the same time.

People here belly ached about some areas being a "food desert" in mostly minority areas. Thy managed to get farmer's markets going. Guess what sold out first? The fried chicken and taco stands that were allowed to sell from the local fast food joints. The vegetables were being bought up by wealthier types from across town. There was literally no wait, no lines at any vendor except the fast food ones.
Lead to water comes to mind. Oh and every single liquor store across from grocery stores has the EBT/WIC accepted signs as well as the fast food joints. Most of the schools in the area also qualify for free meals and they even keep them open during summer. Allllll freeeeeeeee.
Here is another telling stat. The HS closest to the markets just had graduation. Over 100 seniors didn't qualify to graduate. You can guess the demographics.

Exactly. I've already posted the map for Chicago Public School's summer government-funded free breakfast and lunch programs, and many of those families already get Food Stamps for those exact same meals. Here it is again:
Obesity is a definition, and a flawed one at that.
BMI dictates what you are, and you can be defined as obese, even if you body fat percentage is in the average to low range.
You can tell who's obese just by looking at them. BMI is not the only determining factor.
