Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

"Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump told Republican senators lunching at the White House Tuesday the House-passed health care reform bill he celebrated earlier this year was "mean," a source told CNN.

Good luck getting the GOP to agree on ANY replacement bill. Ain't likely to happen.

Trump made clear multiple times that he was pleased that the Senate negotiations appeared to be moving away from where the House version of the repeal and replace effort ended up, according to three sources familiar with the meeting...]"

LOL - talk about a "low bar" - Congress should be PRAISED for crafting and passing (barely) an absolutely terrible bill?

OK, I guess your's is an accurate statement - that the GOP-controlled Congress is THAT incompetent. Glad to see you are finally admitting that.

Associated Press, not CNN.

One source said Trump called the House bill “mean, mean, mean” and said, “We need to be more generous, more kind.” The other source said Trump used a vulgarity to describe the House bill and told the senators, “We need to be more generous.”

Two other congressional GOP officials confirmed that the general descriptions of Trump’s words were accurate.

It may be that Trump wanted it to clear the House so it could go to the Senate but why the big Rose Garden celebration.

It may be someone finally explained it to him.

And so we should applaud all those constituents -- Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Undeclared who showed up at all those Town Halls and protests because it was a mean bill.

They were right.....
