It could be argued that there is no reason after those nine trips to justify spending what it costs to go there. They have the rocks. You want drilling? Fracking? A colony?
In the interest of keeping it real, there were 7 moon landing missions, one of which famously didn't come off too well. Unless you are counting the circumlunar missions as well?

The rest of your points are very well made.

The bottom cut on that notch needs to be horizontal and this is where rookies make their mistake, if it's not horizontal you are running the risk of the tree sliding off the stump when you complete your backcut. It will impale itself into the ground next to the stump and typically fall in the opposite direction you intended it to go.
Ayup, spent half a year clearing forest before joining the army. I've witnessed every conventional mistake, a few unconventional ones, and one or two that I swear were invented on the spot. The fact that we all walked out with arms and legs intact & attached almost made me believe divine intervention.

The reason people look at the 9/11 collapses and say "It looks like a controlled demolition" is because, well, a vertical collapse is what you expect when the structure can no longer support its own weight - whether it's weakened quickly by explosives or gradually by high temperatures.

I don't know why no one offered Evel Knievel to replicate flying a 757 jet plane fast and low just above the ground to prove it can be done.

Hell with that - git George W. Bush to do it.

George had flight training!

You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to apply logic and know that flying a 757 a few feet from the ground in a straight line and hitting the pentagon dead center is quite a feat to pull. Especially from hijackers who were considered "inexperienced".

Aviation experts have went on record to say that those maneuvers are virtually impossible.

false

Aerospaceweb.org | Ask Us - Pentagon & Boeing 757 Ground Effect

One of the pilots summarized his experiences by stating, "This whole ground effect argument is ridiculous. People need to realize that crashing a plane into a building as massive as the Pentagon is remarkably easy and takes no skill at all.

"Remarkably easy and takes no skill at all?"

Sure it doesnt take skill to crash into a building. What does take skill is bringing the plane just a few feet from the ground and keeping it stable enough while perfectly hitting the side of the pentagon bulleye.

Doesnt help that the most secure building in the world in one of the most protected cities in the world, yet there is only one grainy frame by frame image of a foggy object then an explosion. That I find very hard to believe!

The problem is, for every article describing how it can be done, there are just as many showing how it cant. This one article doesn't close the case on the issue.
