Remember the uproar after Gabby Giffords was shot? The nonstop accusations blaming talk radio, the NRA, Sarah Palin and those bastards Republicans. Interview after interview with the husband, daily and nightly updates on how Ms. Giffords was faring, angry denunciations of guns and gun owners.
So today, where are all the stories about the Capitol Hill police? Where are the interviews and their stories? Does anyone even know their names? Has the wife of Steve Scalise been interviewed, does anyone know the names of the staffers who were shot?
As a matter of fact, where are the mass denunciations of guns and gun owners?
Flip around some of the different news sites and news aggregators. At one point this afternoon neither Yahoo or AOL had stories up about the shootings. CNN kept itself to two small links in the Politics column.
That tells me the media wants this story gone, they want the American public to forget this left-wing homicidal maniac as quick as they can and focused back where they think it belongs.
They also know this story hurts Democrats, and the MSM doesn't want that. What they also know is the shooter is going to figure prominently in 2018 GOP ads about the irresponsible Democrats and their violent tendencies.
The Demonic-rats sent their assassin to take Scalise out in order to win something (baseball game). Since no evidence has been found to support this, I demand billions of taxpayers dollars be wasted on a witch hunt that will implicate every Demonic-rat in Congress so they can all be impeached.
It was on the NBC Nightly News pretty much all of last night, despite the fact that there were two other major workplace shootings and a huge high rise fire with double digit deaths in London in that same 24 hour news cycle. So, yeah, burying it.

To the OPs question, no. I get all of my news from mainstream sources and I'm pretty up to date on the whole issue. They aren't bombarding us with information, which is fine. I like to be updated only when there is something to be updated with. Perhaps they bombard us with information in the past with similar events, but that's stupid to do that.

Yup they are, the Washington Post usually creates a great fake news story when the heat is on Democrats. Today it was Trump is under CRIMINAL investigation for obstruction of justice. CRIMINAL, no sources, no facts, just a story to distract progressives from introspection.
