People who have never shot a gun actually believe that you will hit your target every time.
If you've never shot a gun, here's reality:
You can raise up a gun and pull the trigger, it doesn't mean you're going to hit a thing that you wanted to hit.
Before people come up with stupid conspiracy theories based off of their information gleaned from a Hollywood movie, go to the range, pick up a gun, shoot it at the target at different distances. Tell us how well you do.
Now add stress to the mix by getting timed. Shoot x amount of targets in various places at various distances in a certain amount of time.
Tell us how accurate you were.
Then come back and erase the ridiculous conspiracy theory that it's "curious" how no one was lethally wounded.
So much for "when they go low, we go higher" more evidence the far left is more intolerant and violent than the far right. Don't get me wrong, extremism in either direction is awful, but there is no secret the far right are scum bags, yet the far left often is often portrayed as these super sweet tolerant loving understanding people, NOPE!
So there's no evidence that supports that the far right is violent? None at all? You sure about that?
If you want to get really angry, head over to DU and read what the left wing loons over there are saying about the shooting. It's not just a few, either. It is MOST of them.

It's actually quite simple.
The right believes in individualism and the left is a single opinion hive mind. When one leftists does something, they all do it. That's why people on the right don't treat people on the left as individuals... I guess.

We won't see any similar compilation of violence by the "right" because there is no such body of "work." As I said earlier on the thread, there is violence from both sides but FAR FAR FAR more violence from the left.
There's no compilation of violence by the "right" or by the "left", because when the violence happens it is almost always committed by nutjobs that don't represent either side of the political spectrum. Neither liberals or conservatives advocate for violence, only nutjobs who look for causes to hang their hatred, fear and anger on.
When the Holocaust Museum was attacked---nutjob.
Oklahoma City bombing---nutjob.
Dylann Roof-nutjob.
James Harris Jackson-nutjob.
Extremists represent only a very small percentage of Americans. And only a fraction of them will ever commit violent acts. But when they do, it gets our attention. And that's when we should recall, extremists are nutjobs. Whether they are religious extremists, political extremists, or just pick-your-cause-extremists, they are nutjobs.
Oddly enough , those that knew him in Belleville don't agree with NBC - but it was well known that he was VERY "anti-Republican Party" and belonged to many "anti-Republican Party" groups. Not exactly your typical "lone gunman" or even "disgruntled employee".
“I knew he was a Democrat, a pretty hardcore one. I know he wasn’t happy when Trump got elected but he seemed like a nice enough guy,” recalled Meurer, who said the couple lived across the street for about six years.
“He seemed like he was semi-retired; he was home a lot. He used to garden a couple of years ago,” said Meurer, who runs his own trimming and removal service. “I didn’t really talk to him too much. He was a Democrat and I was a Republican so we didn’t have too much to talk about.”
“We were neighbors, but we didn’t talk every day. When we saw them in the yard we’d say ‘Hi’ and go on our way,” said Meurer. “He seemed like a normal guy, a regular guy.”
Meurer suggested that perhaps “this Democratic rhetoric made him snap. I know he was a pretty hardcore Democrat.”
Apparently he has been doing a lot of target practice on his property lately. Nobody seemed to think he was "radical" or even "problematic" ... just opinionated. Looks like Bellville is a small city of about 42,000 in the St Louis Metro area.
I think this past election drew out a lot of nut jobs on both sides of the political spectrum.
That said, based on a previous poster's link to letters this guy wrote to his local paper, in 2012, this guy was very upset by income inequality, and had been for years.
Then he should have worked harder instead of pissing and whining about what he didn't have.
