This is quite silly. The vast majority of people who belong to anti-establishment groups are not going to go on a shooting spree.
And, yes, it is fair to point to the Tea Party, with their demonstrations and posters depicting Obama hanging by a noose and ask if they should be labeled a hate group if you're going to go down this road, because Gabby Giffords is pretty screwed up today thanks to someone who disagreed with her politically.
Some people are just mentally unstable. No group designed to complain, organize, or try to alter political futures is going to encourage killing.
Nope. Those people get ideas like that all by themselves because they are MENTALLY UNSTABLE.

Why would The Resistance be called a hate group if the Tea Party was not classified as such? The Tea Party was a resistance group with a flag and that Don't Tread on Me thing going on (usually combined with guns).
