They're not becoming more liberal, they're becoming leftist, as in anti-capitalism and if it hadn't been for Hillary and the DNC, it could have happened here too with Bernie.

It has nothing to do with Trump.

When did Trump say "America only"?

If you cannot point out and prove exactly when and where he said it, then you are a liar.

Why do you guys keep listening to these losers?
Actually he consistently said that it was going to be a tight race and Hillary was only a polling margin of error away from losing.

You are a victim of the MSM indoctrination which has been projected to the world as truth. It's only logical that this would have a negative effect on conservative party elections abroad.

I'm European. (The user name clues in most people.) And if you haven't noticed, something drastic happened to Le Pen's support between the Presidential election and the parliamentary one.

Unless, of course, the globalist controlled MSM yaddayadda simply made up the parliamentary results, there are dumber theories being bandied about.

Trump is a stupid and ludicrous liar, bully and buffoon. The much wiser and more intelligent and better educated Europeans - even the lower classes - WHO KNOW THEIR HISTORY (unlike the ignoramuses in the US) - will not fall for his crap or anyone who sounds remotely like him.

Although, gotta say, Trump is the poster child for the obscene in politics. The European r-wingers don't even come close in outlandish lies, unfounded accusations, sheer boorishness, nastiness, stupidity, and crudeness. He is the founder of the hate in our current political environment and has done NOTHING to reverse that. He continues with the unfounded name calling, reckless accusations, stupid attacks - all based only on his "beliefs" - not credible evidence.

Trump couldn't have done more to set back the ignorance movement if he'd tried.

A-M-E-N!

Trump is no conservative and he is surely not a Republican; he simply hijacked their party in 2016. He is nothing more than an apolitical narcissistic thug for whom being POTUS is simply an opportunity to stroke his bloated ego. True conservatives are surely getting reamed because they will be tainted by the memory of Trump for generations to come.

This. Europe is getting a very strong sense that US foreign policy is flapping in the wind. Good time to shore up one's own alliances.

Huh? Macron and Merkel are anti-capitalist? You know they are for more immigration, for more open and free trade policies, for less government. Merkel is campaigning for tax cuts. Heck Macron in France is even taking on the Unions.
