Trump also asked why nothing was being done to investigate Hillary's emails. He's the president who appointed the AG. Why doesn't he order Sessions to investigate her? Who else does he think is going to do it? What happened to "Lock her up!"?

Soo why is he looking for a way to get out of office? Then again why would he ask if he can pardon himself?

Not sure the Founders saw things that way.

As for the source...

"according to people familiar with the effort."

When are you people going to stop posting fake news?

Sometimes I question his actions but I did vote for him & don't regret it. The main reason I voted for him was the illegal immigrant problem. I dont support them & something has to be done. I know ca is a sanctuary state & many celebrity hacks love the illegals. I DONT.

How is one a criminal just because an investigation is going on. By that benchmark Hillary was a criminal as is Jane Sanders. And Bill Clinton for that matter.

But he's not going to do anything. Period. I was born in Calif, been back only a handful of times. While I agree that if one wants to come into this country they should do so by legal means. Many nations have the same problem as ours. I do age that something has to be done.
yet in this PC world we live in it's not going to happen.

Let's be honest here IF your worried about immigrants taking your jobs and/or those of Americans.
Then those same Americans are going to have to get their hands dirty. And take jobs they normally wouldn't do. Those are the jobs that immigrants to and they are happy to have them.

Where your typical American is going to laugh and say you can't pay me enough to do said job.

In order to pardon someone (including himself) he's going to have to admit they did something unlawful and we all know that's not going to happen.
