And?

If Qatar is such a threat, seems that this would have been the perfect time for 45 to whip out his executive pen.

So why not?

Did he have to sign it?

Plus, the articles mentioned:

"Qatari Defense Minister Khalid Al-Attiyah and his U.S. counterpart, Jim Mattis, completed the $12 billion agreement on Wednesday in Washington, according to the Pentagon."

This implies the agreement was not completed.
Exactly my question as well.

Not to mention: if 45 can take credit for a coal mine opening that was planned during the last administration, why shouldn't he get the "blame" for signing off on a deal with a country that he touts as an enemy?

Personally, I suspect that he forgot that he called them agents of terror because dollar signs.

Trump sells Qatar $12 billion of arms days after accusing it of funding terrorism

Just another example of the POS being a TWO-FACED-BACK-STABBER!
Why no tweet about this?

> 10,000 US troops in Qatar.

Guess all is forgiven so long as they buy " Made in the USA"

Trump Admin could have put the kabosh on it, given Trump believed they fund terrorism at the highest level.

Why no tweet about this from fearless leader?

What I want to happen? Hmmm, tough one. How about a Chief Executive that takes those points into consideration before he goes on to call Qatar a hotbed of terrorism? It's no secret that the Saudis dislike Qatar a whole lot, mostly because Qatar has the nerve to kinda like Iran, and the Saudis absolutely hate the Iranians. (Also, Saudi Arabia has some religious dither with them, but they have that with everybody.)

All in all a situation that calls for delicate diplomatic touch. And so we get Trump visiting Saudi and immediately promoting the official Saudi line, because he's a weak-minded individual who'll agree with the last person he spoke to, as long as his ego is stroked.

Do you mean selling weapons to countries that have supported terrorism and demonstrate a lack of human rights?

If so, that's certainly true. Sometimes the US has given some of these countries funding to buy arms from the US.

Who signed the deal?

"The US has signed a $12bn deal to supply dozens of F-15 jets to Qatar, despite recent high-profile claims by President Donald Trump alleging Qatar’s “high-level funding” of terrorism.

The signing of the deal on Wednesday is the latest twist in the highly contradictory US diplomacy over the crisis around Qatar – now in its second week – with the emirate targeted by a Saudi-led embargo."

45 was president on Wednesday, no?
