I disagree. The leaking has gotten out of hand and is a threat to our government. When the former director of the FBI leaks information that is a problem.
This did not come from the FBI or Mueller's team. More likely it came from people being investigated who have hired attys - probably people working in those atty's offices.
I actually heard this on FOX tonight - - from Martha McCallum. She was quite firm it was not the FBI - despite another commentator's sincere 'belief' it "had" to be Mueller's team. From everything everyone has said everywhere, there will be NO LEAKS from the Mueller people. But, he can't control those under investigation and the people they come into contact with. Never watch FOX - they are such liars - couldn't believe Martha was actually telling the truth.

Mueller needs to resign. The conflict of interest law is pretty clear. He can be disbarred for violating it.
Those who selected and appointed Mueller were all aware of the law. Many are lawyers. If there was a conflict of interest, Mr. Mueller would never have been authorized in the first place, so there is certainly no violation that can be held on him now.
He was well vetted, and was qualified by a unanimous vote. Go ahead and question his honesty all you want, but it was certainly good enough to satisfy Congress, and all those guys have a lot more to lose than you do if they made a mistake.

I think you need to just let the chips fall where they may. This Administration just has way too much dirt for you to try to keep covering up.
If Mueller is investigating Trump for criminal behavior which now is reported by newspaper than someone leaked the info.
If it is true than Mueller should be fired on the spot!
How should and could anyone even know this unless Mueller is leaking this info or it is completely fake story as usual.
Informing the media about a criminal investigation is not against the law. If the public is served by knowing this information then the "leaker" should be praised, not fired.

For me, it was the Tomahawk strike on Syrian Soil and I was not happy about the Saudi deal, but now it makes better sense to me why and what he was trying to accomplish.
It's what he hasn't done- and that's stop pandering to his base and try to work for the majority of Americans. I know any president never going to make everyone happy, and on the other hand, they'll always have a base of support. Good presidents generate support beyond the base. Again, not everyone, but support beyond the base. And Trump hasn't done that. At all. He keeps spitting the same old rhetoric that makes his base cheer and the rest of the country/world roll their eyes. He hasn't budged and it's handicapped him bigly.
Obama was an imperfect president. But he left office with nearly 70% approval. He won over some independents and moderate Republicans. Trump should have looked at the fact he was wildly unpopular (HRC would have been in the same boat had the electoral college shifted in her favor) and worked for unity- or at least for more support from the middle. But he never made the effort and that surprised me. It's a big part of why he's struggled doing anything but signing or lifting EOs.
It would help if, when you allege something has happened, that you include a link to a source so that people can respond with some idea of what you are talking about.
