Now that his guy is in office, he says,

"Let's stop all the harsh words."

After he's dished it out for 8 years, he can't take it for however long his moronic cheeto-boy is able to stick.

That's not how it's gonna work, dunbass.

Coward, hypocrite, pedophile, RW hero.

Carry on, Trumplings.

This.

Thanks Ted, thank you for acknowledging that rhetoric can push borderline psychos over the edge. As a public figure he is taking the responsibility for inciting an individual to violent action. In the meantime, the Constitution still protects his first and second amendment rights.

odd.

An ignorant remark. Besides the fact that posters of both sides are capable of commenting on the hateful rhetoric AND commenting on the shooting in different threads, lefties everywhere have en masse condemned the shooting.

Ted seems to be stunned that his side can also get shot. I guess he thought it would always just be Democrats facing the barrel of a shotgun.

That said, IF he can maintain some kind of civility I will give him props for that. We have to take people where they are.

Not sure that I'd label it a political correctness as much as a stepping up and taking responsibility. I agree that it's a good thing.

This from the guy who trashed Philando Castile. Why isn't Ted standing up today for Castile's gun rights?

It's meaningless drivel that's used to deflect. See look what Congress did by working together!! Hurray
I don't want them working together I've already seen their destruction in action. A weak Federal government like the Founders envisioned.
Vote for me, I'll vote for you.

Come together on what? Bailouts for each sides cronies while ignoring the people? Keeping us involved in never ending wars in the Middle East which we cannot afford and makes us less safe?
Screw common ground. The less our Federal government gets involved, the better we the people are.
The one size fits all big government approach to running our lives has failed us. How about we let the states decide for themselves? You know like the Constitution says.

Do you actually think the same people pushing this will stick to it? How many months will it last? One maybe? Plus I don't listen to hypocrites like Nugent. The less press he gets the better.

Agreed. There has been violent and divisive rhetoric from both sides. Heck, it was an attack tool in the 2016 campaign.

Neither side has clean hands here.

BOTH peddle gender, racial, religious and other differences all the time.
