They are like this because they suffer from a combination of frustration at their own personal/financial failures, jealousy at the financial successes of the "lib-tards" who are more educated and make a lot more money than they do, resentment at immigrants who receive aid (they want more for themselves) and general ignorance of the world due to lack of good schooling and non emphasis on education. It's poverty, provincialism, narrow-minded stupidity and religious zealotry all wrapped in a filthy xenophobic, hate-filled mindset.

Where are all the red states in the ranking for gdp per capita? And ranking for states who need aid from the Fed government? That's just one example....

Ironic, really, because if they would educate themselves and become smarter, they, too, could earn more money and make better decisions and have a better life and opportunities.

But, it's so much easier to talk about the "educated elite" and throw stones at those who succeed - AND also at those who are disadvantaged and won't do anything to improve their lives, which group, if they would think actually about it, they are among.

They themselves are guilty of the sins they criticize in others.

The irrational hate on the right knows no bounds and they don't care who gets hurt, even when they hurt themselves.

It used to be "I got mine, eff you!" but now it's more like "As long as [people I hate] don't get it, doesn't matter who else doesn't, even me"

LOL.

Not one person in that article placed blame on Trump for the dismal state of health care in the USA. They clearly blame Obamacare, but the anti-Trump author lists his opinion as fact.

It's the people who haven't educated themselves who were shocked at what happened on Nov. 8th. The poor soul who wrote that, can't even figure it out, because his political beliefs have blinded him to reality. And they will continue to lose because they consider themselves smarter than everyone else.

VOX is an anti-Trump opinion rag. As pointed out above, that was clearly demonstrated by the horrific statements made this week by its co-founder.

I wonder what part of it he thinks is mean? The fact that 23 million American's will go uncovered or that not more will go uncovered? You've got some splaining to do Trumpie.
I wonder why Trump brought a busload of House Gopers to a party in the Rose Garden to celebrate the passing of the legislation and was so giddy and happy he was exclaiming "I'm the president -- Can you believe it!" if he thought it was 'mean.'

Do ya think maybe he had no clue what was in it and still doesn't, but Ivanka or someone told him it could be perceived as 'mean' to take away health insurance from all of his voters?

"Voting for this party has made my life dramatically worse, but I'll still do it again next time because immigrants!"
You gotta hand it to the Republicans, they work very closely with Fox and various religious groups to indoctrinate and brainwash tens of millions of Americans.

Think about it.
Republicans filter money up and away from the average voter.
Republicans love regressive taxation and sell it as "choice".
Republicans sell fear in various packages and forms

According to republican beliefs, you are responsible for yourself, despite being taxed at point of sale, city ,county , state and federal levels.

According to Republicans we can't afford strong healthcare protection for all, but we can spend more on our armies than the next 8 nations combined!

According to Republicans rich people should less tax per dollar than poor people. I know it seems hard to believe, but it is true.

And of course Republicans use Independence and self reliance as catch all phrases in the same way a health club salesman will say 'if you are serious about getting healthy"... thus if you argue with self reliance you are lacking in that area. it is a beautifully packaged lie.

The really cool thing about the Republican party is that they get away with it because they scare people into thinking that their religion will be attacked or that someone who sounds or looks different will rape their kids. That is the lie that they sell.

Republicans are the party of fear, lies and deceptive taxation.

I am relatively well off, and statically speaking i pay less tax than the person scanning through this. Why? because the US system of lobbying means that both parties are right of center and both believe strongly in taxing the poorest the most. The Rs are much worse but both are bad.
