Calling 911 is appropriate if someone is suicidal, egging them on likely is criminal. Text messages are all recorded at various places.

She was his girlfriend I believe-and she listened to him while he took his last breaths and died. Pretty sick stuff-but both of them had history of mental illness. Very sad.

I obviously don't know the specifics, so I can't comment on this case.

In general, I have a problem blaming anyone else for a person's choice to commit suicide. No matter how awful a person is to another, the decision to take one's life belongs to the deceased.

It was mean but I don't agree that it is murder/manslaughter or should be illegal. We are treading a fine line with free speech lately.

That's why she was charged with involuntary manslaughter and not murder.

But to egg on someone she theoretically cared about - someone she knew was troubled - well, something is seriously missing.

Interesting case. I lean towards it being correct but I'm just not sure.

Egging someone on to commit suicide is not free speech.

I'm so happy about this verdict. This girl knew he was mentally unstable and did everything she could to make him kill himself. This girl is evil.
