Conspiracy theorists have to find a way to explain something that is otherwise so unfathomable and horrible to face. They need the obvious answer to NOT be that one human (like Adam Lanza) or a group of humans (19 9/11 hijackers) could do something so horrible and painful to other human beings on their own, from their own thoughts and actions. They need it to be a large government conspiracy, and since people tend to think politicians are heartless or selfish or, often, that the government is out to get them and hurt them rather than help them, the government seems like the obvious, easily explainable scapegoat. Reality is, conspiracy theorists can't face the reality because it's too harsh and painful. It's too shocking. They live in denial.
Of course I don't believe Sandy Hook was a hoax. Preposterous.
The government couldn't even put together the obamacare website properly yet people actually think they could orchestrate, carry out, AND keep secret (as in, no one involved spills the beans) something like Sandy Hook, or 9/11 for that matter? Come on now. You know how many people would need to be involved in these types of operations and coverups, how many would have to keep their mouths shut and do all this planning and executing? Illogical.
And what's the point in having cameras if no one is allowed to look at them?
The investigators looked at them. Now they're likely in evidence and things logged into evidence in serious investigations like this are often never returned, not to their original owners and not to the public.
The video doesn't belong to the public, it belongs to investigators.
The school was knocked down. It doesn't even exist anymore. No one needs the videos. Eventually, they will be destroyed, like most other evidence held for a certain period of time.
Isn't there a law against spreading propaganda like this?
nope, but.....
i'd be curious to know if the parents have a slander case against jones. as far as i know he's never specifically referred to any of them individually but he is claiming that all of them are liars who are falsely claiming to have lost children.
Plus, if they don't want to fuel speculation and conspiracy theories, then they should just release them.
this reminds me of the birthers ( most notably donald trump ) claiming that if obama just released his "long-form" birth certificate it would put an end to the conspiracy theories. he did. not only did the conspiracy theories continue but they multiplied, primarily thanks to joe arpaio and the comically incompetent "cold case posse" ( aka mike zullo ).
