Well said. Not since the late great days of President Reagan have i felt a sense of optimism for America
How can someone like Reagan and Trump, when they have completely opposite policies? I will never get this.
Reagan was pro free trade, super pro-Europe, super pro-immigrant, hated talking about religion, race, guns, etc. Trump is protectionist, anti-globalist, loves blaming everything on Mexicans, blacks, gays, foreigners, etc.
If Reagan were running for President today, the Trump cult would think he's worse than Hillary.

He failed on immigration, failed on the economy, failed on healthcare, failed on infrastructure, failed on working with Congress, failed on draining the swamp, failed on hiring the "best", failed on "defeating ISIS In 30 days". He's a big failure, as in business and personal life.
He's a very good snake oil salesman; that's it. He cannot deliver though.
He was also pretty good at exploiting the fear and anger of rural Americans long enough to convince them that brown people were taking their jobs.
