Spend huge amounts on opposition research, then use surrogates to go on the attack of her opponents based on it. This would be the MSM, unnamed sources, paid agitators, etc.
This worked against Bernie Sanders. Plus the DNC rigged it so he could not win anyway.
Where Clinton strategy failed is that it was designed for Marco Rubio or JEB. The wheels came off when they faced Trump. They never had a strategy that worked against him, because Trump changed the typical political narrative.
