He went to another country, and stole stuff like a white frat boy. Expecting that, like here, there would be no repercussions. He was dumb. He did not have the safety he has here, and their point is that many blacks dont have that safety here. But you want to make it some morality play.

What attack? Evergreen is a fine school, very progressive. Like you they understand that, given any situation, even when some poor guy gets tortured to death by North Koreans, they main thing is use it as a teachable moment about white privilege.

He didnt deserve it, it was wrong...but it was dumb to steal there. Was there a certain assumption that being who he was nothing like that would happen? Probably.
In America, a black person doesn't usually think he can be shot to death by a cop for having a broken taillight. But it happens all the time. What's the difference?
