The OP's link identifies the accused as Ethiopians while this link identifies them as Eriteans.

Germany rape case: Immigrant attack suspects identified in court | Fox News

OP's link says she was " lured" to a secluded area during a local carnival. How does one get lured to a secluded area by one or more strangers? Was alcohol a factor?

One of the accused claims it was consensual. The other two claim they were not there.

None of us were there or present at the trial. If found guilty, hope they spend the rest of their life in prison being raped multiple times a day.

Both Ethiopia and Eritea are Christian majority countries. No telling what, if any , religion the accused are.

Well, things are ending up far worse for Europe because he lived, no doubt about that. If one Limey had got a good shot in WWI and took Corporal Hitler out, the world would be a better place no doubt.

Ha! Murderers don't even spend the rest of their life in prison over there. They won't get much time, and the time they get will radicalize them in prison.

One of the sources is mistaken.

RT reports she was lured to a secluded area near a carnival.

One of the accused claims it was consensual.

Two of the accused claim they were not there. Will they be able to prove this?

Certainly not enough information being reported to draw any conclusions.

Who, besides some posters here, claim they are Muslim?

While I agree the US should get out of the ME, this has nothing to do with this incident unless the accuser is from the ME. The 3 accused are reportedly refugees from either Ethiopia or Eritea, in Africa.

Regardless of our positions on the ME, it's obvious this Admin does not agree.

If only Americans worried as much about rapes in their own country, rather than obtaining their information from the state-run Russian news media. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit their agenda.

"Here in the United States, where there is a reported rape every 6.2 minutes, and one in five women will be raped in her lifetime..."

That was my first thought when reading the article ... there's something about it that doesn't seem quite right. Ethiopia has many Coptic churches, but it's not just that. It's also the photos - very generic.

The Fox article says:

"she tried running away and calling for help but the men had taken her phone."

How did she try call for help when the men had taken her phone? It doesn't say that they took her phone when she tried calling for help, but that the men had taken her phone and she tried calling for help.

The OP's link says she was lured to a secluded area near a carnival.

Much is unknown here.

How exactly is a woman lured to a secluded area near a carnival? Did she know the alleged rapists? Was she drunk or high? Is she mentally impaired? Did anyone wittness her being lured?

Media is conflicted with the nationality of the alleged rapists.

I am not blaming the victim, here. Something happened.

The reporting vs the reality of this case leaves a lot of holes.

If alleged rapist is a refugee it's international news. Details do not seem to matter.
