The question I have is what in the hell is a Canadian sniper doing shooting someone in a conflict between two groups that aren't attacking Canada?

Quote:
"The shot in question actually disrupted a Daesh [Islamic State] attack on Iraqi security forces,"

Same thing they were doing in WWI, WWII, Korea and during any one of the hundreds of peacekeeping missions they've been involved in over the years.

Canada followed us (at a safe distance) in to a bloody mess of a conflict to keep their overbearing southern neighbor happy.

They are smart enough to not foot an obscene bill for the pleasure, nor an even more obscene loss of life in the conflict.

And I think anytime now we will find those weapons of mass destruction Republicans warned us daily about.

Criticize an ally for not doing enough, criticize an ally for being there, give credit to the gun not the person (but guns don't kill people do).

Instead of -- gool, Good job! Well done! For me -- an argument for quantity over quality in defense spending -- lol.

You don't need massive armies -- you just need well trained, specialized ones.
