100% correct... I didn't agree with berries free college and his higher tax codes but he did run on issues that mattered. Then pushed aside for the beast... the same one who campaigned in NY and said the sanctity of marraige is a sacred bond between and man and woman to get a win In NY, then turn back around and say she's the champion of gay rights... but evolved to dismiss the claim of being a flip flop artist.

How is it so hard for folks to comprehend the wool couldn't be pulled over their eyes by a woman who would say anything just to gain a vote...
Im not going to debate the definition of flip fopper here, so ill get to the point.

On Gay Marriage, how many Democrats hold the same position today, that they held 20 years ago (doma)

Feinstein and Wyden are the only Democrats still in the Senate who voted Nay.

IN the House, there may be 6 Democrats.

So a whole lot of people "evolved" on that issue. Not just her.

The Dems ignored it. tRump lied through his azz about it, but got enough support from gullible voters to win.

It's the DNC's fault that tRump is in the WH and McConnell is in charge of the senate. They ran an abysmal campaign and richly deserve the beating they took. Judging by the recent special elections, they've refused to learn their lesson from it.
1. In California, you have multiple districts where 2 Democrats were at the top of the ticket and increased turnout, Of all those races, and there were quite a few, only 1 Berniecrat won, Ro Khanna. Thats it.

Without the hindrance of Republicans, that message that you say resonated has one win. Im not saying it didnt resonate, but that more people wanted a different message.

While the message you wanted may have brought over some people, you probably would have lost more.

2. Every single one of these election were in Republican districts that no Democrat has won in 20 years(1994 elections to be exact)

Cook Partisan Voting Index

Kansas 4th , +15 Republican
Montana At Large, +11 Republican
South Carolina 5th, +9 Republican
Georgia 6th, +8 Republican

Why would anyone judge Democrats based on losses in these districts ?

Every democrat and especially those in NY seek to suppress liberty in exchange for a nanny state with policies that will leave people reduced to living in a bubble because this that and the other is bad for you, from taxation of I don't know... soda/fast food, to Banning fire arms...

Starts there where does it stop? You are relinquishing your free thoughts and actions to be provided for...

Who campaigned on draining the swamp? Wasn't Hillary or Bernie...
I don't blame you for wanting to escape the NY nanny state. I live in NY, yes they have a silly tax on everything to try to get you to behave a certain way.

But at the national level, we need high taxes on the billionaire class to prevent a permanent aristocracy/plutocracy. The top tax rates were 90% under Eisenhower, during the prosperous years of the 1950s. Quite a few people want to return to the way things were in the 1950s, but many of those same people call 1950s economic policies "socialist."

It looks like you are going to be very happy and get your want fulfilled.

You can try the false claim of white identity politics but it is baseless. Identity politics is tribalism and when there is only one tribe its a worthless claim. Its the empty taco. The cheese are not pitted against the tomatoes. President Trump doesn't pander. Everyone gets the same deal. That's one reason he is so successful keeping his base. There is no inter division.

In this context, the word you are looking for is advice, not advise

I want the Democrats to lose more so they can start winning again. I have a feeling you want them to lose to further your agenda. I think we have different takes on the whole thing I'm not happy with moral victories or second place trophies, like was said on NPR yesterday morning. Some of my fellow liberal posters may feel differently about that, but I'm rooting for a win.

I think it's dangerous for one party to have total control. Look at the stacking of the deck the winning party could do. I just think it's a dangerous thing.

Proves my point. Blind partisanship regardless of what hilary claimed-evolved.
She didn't evolve. She is a shill who would say and do anything for money/vote.
Equate her to the salesman at the shady used car lot.

Whatever benefits the party. Old Don is the prime example here calling a Democrat a Trumpee.
Guess it's incomprehensible that some folks saw a flawed candidate.

Don's and the rest of the elitist Democrats view on this can be simplified like this...
You all go to the Kentucky derby and he and others tell you what horse to bet on.
When they lose they blame you because your money would have made the horse win... no. It wouldn't have.
You picked a bad horse and doubled down on it.

I'm telling you, honestly. I would have jumped ship if Mitt Romney got through...
He's a snake in the grass. He'd have worked for bipartisanship and made the party democrat lite... after all he's the Jackazz who used Massachusetts as the beta test for obama care. I worked with guys who were from MA and worked in NY. Every year at tax time for MA state refunds they had to go to HR to get records of holding health insurance or the state would hold their refund...
Sound familiar?

Can't afford it, we will fine you for it...
