SO is Depp comparing himself to John Wilkes Booth or calling on other Liberal actors to step up and murder Trump?

Is Depp pro slavery ? Considering his hero was a Democrat that assassinated a Republican President who oversaw the Union defeat the Confederates. Lincoln had big plans for the South and how it treated the recently freed black man but the Dems saw it another way and put the black man back on the plantation to struggle in society for another 100 plus years.

Is this what Depp was hinting at? or is he just another Hollywood idiot on a tall soap box?

It is interesting to see the outrage focused at celebrities for saying stupid, violent, hateful things but it is okay for politicians.
That makes no sense. Politicians should be held to a higher standard.

Vileness and hatred, it is totally acceptable now, to many if not most, seeing what time and place America is in now.

The political environment is one of downright hatred. When Hagillary lost and the
"Orange Clown" won, all gloves came off and the Demorats and their glassy-eyed followers want war: Dem official on Scalise: 'I wish he was f***ing dead!' | Daily Mail Online

I wish he was f***ing dead!' State Democratic official fired from the party AND his day job after saying he's 'glad' Republican Steve Scalise was shot

Despite the fact that when he said what he said he also stated that he knew there would be backlash...he knew...he decided to apologize:

Johnny Depp Issues Apology for Donald Trump Assassination Joke | Variety
Quote:
“It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice. I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone,” the actor said in a statement to People on Friday.
I get that it probably didn't come out right, but maybe some of these celebs need to leave the comedy to the actual comedians. Depp said it himself, he gets paid to lie. People write his funny lines for him so that he can pretend to be that character.

Some celebs are fully aware of the influence that they have on others, and some seem to forget the level of influence that they have.

For idiots who claim that "it's just a celeb saying something" and that it means nothing, I present you one name to illustrate just what lengths people will go to emulate and/or do whatever they think their fav celeb thinks is cool: Kylie Jenner

Celebs, unfortunately, have a LOT of influence on people, what they think, how they act, what they will do.

When you see videos of girls (and even boys) stuffing their lips in to a shot glass, creating as much suction as they can, and then pulling that shot glass off of their face, often times suffering temporary damage, and sometimes suffering permanent damage just to have "lips like Kylie", then you'll get just how influential celebrities can be. No, it's not just teenagers.
