What will be interesting is will this effect Trump numbers. He has been around 36% for the last couple of months. His base has not abandoned him and Congress has been riding the fence when it comes to the president. It's been said that his numbers will have to drop below 30% before congressman distance themselves from him and leave him on a island. His supporters care little about his constant lies and Russia. It will be interesting to see if this healthcare disaster will move the needle. If they pass this and the CBO publish the numbers, many of his supporters are going to see and feel what they voted for. It's gonna move the needle but will it be enough to throw him under the bus. We are in for some interesting drama.

Trump's tweet this morning in defense of the Democrats' criticism is to remind us how Obamacare failed.

Um -- yeah -- we ALL know that even Clinton campaigned on fixing Obamacare. Republicans won in a big way on this issue and are now showing us how they misled all of us.

This plan is no fix, it doesn't improve it for anybody.

Tax credits for the rich won't help the upper middle class retiring baby boomers.

Tax credits for the rich won't help pre-existing conditions, caps, etc......

This is not a fix. And they can't even argue that they are trying to get the government out of health care because it doesn't do that either.

Obamacare had some huge faults but the intent was at least to try and improve access. There were oversights. Everyone knows that .

This Act is just to repeal Obamacare and they don't care that it fixes nothing...and could make it worse. Nope -- they don't care as long as it isn't Obamacare.

Well done Republicans and Trump -- well done. All that has happened is that they have lived up to what the fiercest critics accused them of -- incompetence.
