Poland and other eastern European countries have been criticized for not taking in their "fair share" of "refugees" that other EU countries ::coughGermanycough:: unilaterally threw the doors open for.
Listen as the BBC interviewer seethes as this Polish MP tells her that Poland will NOT be accepting "asylum seekers" because the Polish people have said "NO."
Best zingers:
"I’m a lawyer, they are not refugees, they are immigrants. There is a legal difference between refugee and immigrant. Refugee is the person who flees to the first safe country, not flying throughout the globe looking for the social and better life, so we are not talking about refugees.”
"It’s about the situation in Poland, in Europe, in the world. How many terror attacks you had in London?”
Imagine, a European country that puts the needs and desires of its people FIRST, over the needs and desires of foreigners. Bravo, Poland. Polish King Jan Sobieski saved Europe once. This hardline approach is needed in a continent otherwise filled with nuts and fruitcake politicians who work tirelessly for the aid and comfort of non-citizens.

Britain of course has had to take millions of Polish and East European immigrants at the same time they refise to take immigrants.
The Polish have been going on about there right to stay in the UK and Theresa May has even granted 3 million European leave to remain in the UK including 831,000 Poles, as long as Britons living in Europe are afforded the same courtesy.

Sounds like a fair bargain between the EU and UK. They both seem to get something out of the deal.
Not sure what Europe is getting out of the deal from a few million destitute migrants, only a fraction of which have found jobs within the past two years or so since the migrant crisis started.
More people needed to do jobs? Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece have 30% youth unemployment. If that old gas bag Merkel was serious about "the needs of German industry" she should have targeted European youth for opportunity in Germany. Not invited every military-age male in the Middle East and Africa to come to Europe with her siren song.

Agreed - especially in terms of Merkel.
Not a great deal in terms of the UK, we are allowing 3 million EU Citizens to stay in exchange for the rights of only 900,000 Brits who live in Europe.
Just want out of the EU and away from Merkel and her cronies, indeed a Swiss type deal might be the best way forward.

A Swiss type deal still entails free movement of people from the EU to Great Britain.

The Swiss are outside EU structure and European Courts of Justice, and don't have that many immigrants. Britain could easily stem migrant numbers by simply cutting welfare benefits and housing to migrants just as they do in many other EU Countries. Sadly you see to many immigrants trying toO leave other countries to get to the UK due to it's welfare benefits, if the benefits and housing system was changed then this would also start to change. Geniune skilled workers would however still be very welcome.
The Swiss model would allow the UK to continue trading with the EU and to make trade deals outside the EU and is the preferred model of the financial institutions and City of London. Even if this were an interim model it would still allow the UK time to develop a fully strategy and to increase trade deals outside the EU to an extent where EU trade may only form a very small part of our overall trade. It is only then that we could opt out of the Swiss Model and head for a more hardline deal with the EU.
Poland isn't contributing to the refugee crisis by bombing their countries and sticking their noses in the middle east like the British empire, and American empire, have been doing for decades if not centuries. Why should they be expected to clean up England's mess?
