The fake news is that the Trump Campaign was working together with the Russian Government and Trump would not have won without their help.
Like the CNN producer said in the video with all the leaks out there if there was really anything to the investigation it would be known by now. The CNN producer also says the US does what Russia has been accused of all the time. All the major governments do this sort of thing. It is only news now because Trump is president.

Wish I could rep you more than once on this post. The US was caught hacking every single major political party prior to the recent French election. Allegedly to better understand their views for France moving forward, or some such bullsquat.
At least five countries hacked the D's during the campaign, including Germany, South Korea, Israel, Russia (and I forget the other). Why wasn't it "an act of war" when Germany or South Korea hacked us?
Comey stated that foreign countries always try to influence our elections. He said it's a normal thing & that Russia specifically has tried to influence every election we've had since WW2.
The Russians stated that they wanted JFK to win & Kruschev even told JFK "We voted for you" when they met. The only reason this is news is because the D's lost & they realized they could present this, in a vacuum, with the help of their media wing to discredit Trump's presidency. CNN had reported an internal investigation by its management found that certain editorial processes were not followed when the article was published.
This is the difference between CNN, and the real fake-news. CNN has standards and integrity, and audits themselves. They self-police, and take action when wrong is detected.
Compare that to Fox and the Ailes/O'Reilly Scandals, where they did nothing until they couldn't stand the economic backlash.
CNN owned responsibility for what happened on their network. If Trump could have one tenth of the integrity of CNN, he'd be much better off...

It was not ALL BS. One story had some BS in it. CNN found it themselves, retracted./corrected it, issued an apology, and the people who did it are no longer employed (don't worry, they'll probably get hired on at Breitbart tomorrow)
This is the problem with the mindless Trumpeters. They hear one soundbite, and immediately apply it as needed to support their position.
The CNN situation is yet another perfect example of the Right vs. Left. On the Left, false information is retracted and those responsible for promoting it are immediately fired/disciplined. On the Right, false information is promoted and spread, and those responsible for doing so gain anchor positions for new tv shows. Sean Hannity's obsession with the Seth Rich conspiracy nonsense is a real-life example of how things work on the Right.
The difference? The Right's base is not that interested in truth. They're interested in what makes the feel better, or what confirms their biases. What CNN did was not right, and they should strive for better accuracy and truth in the news (this should go without saying, really), but they're not even close to being the worst on the block.
As to those who think this is vindication for Trump? I can only imagine how much the Mexican cartels appreciate your heavy drug use.
