Ok, I don't see how that's the issue. You clearly seem to be agreeing with it. That's more the issue. It really doesn't matter who's idea it was; we should all have a problem with it. Deciding to be ok with it when it benefits our party isn't how a healthy democracy functions.

Where have you been ? We don't have a healthy democracy. Its not on life support yet but it is keeping the ER's busy. Its time to stack the S.C. and reject the anarchy of the democrat party.

How many more Supreme Court justices will Trump appoint?
Trump will appoint anyone his puppeteers tell him to appoint. How many? Time will tell. But as long as the Pubs are in the majority, we know whoever the next Supreme Court Justices are, they will be pro-Wall Street, pro-Uber Wealthy. The Constitution no longer dominates SCOTUS decisions.

I think it's the job of Senate to confirm any candidate. So let them do the job.

Oh my, where do I start?

pro-Wall Street = BAD

Who, except for the communists/socialists/fascists, in their right mind would be against the Wall Street?

Newsflash for you. Wall Street is where investments are made, jobs are created and retirements are secured. Wall Street is our livelihood - you are against the very thing that keeps you and millions of Americans alive.

It's like "I am against the air I am breathing."

pro-Uber Wealthy = BAD

So we should be pro-Uber poor? Everybody should be poor?

The Constitution no longer dominates SCOTUS decisions.

Right, thanks to the liberal hacks, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan, and many more at the lower courts.

Hillary: "And I feel strongly that the Supreme Court needs to stand on the side of the American people, not on the side of the powerful corporations and the wealthy. "

This is freaking ridiculous. This sentence put me 100% on the Trump train. The court needs to stand on the side of the LAW!!! Hello!!! We have rule of the LAWS, not mob rule.

We would probably be better off with SCOTUS justices endorsed by Wall Street, but with Trump we can count on the Federalist Society to decide who will be on the court so the new justice will be another crackpot originalist https://www.propublica.org/article/b...ys-hidden-hand

If that were to happen and he appointed radical social conservatives you would likely see social unrest the likes this country has never seen with lost lives.

With the unprecedented hate we have seen from the Left against Trump I foresee a Democrat President tearing up everything he has done through executive order and attacking everything else even if the policy/law is a good one that has done positive things for America.
If Trump or another Rep doesn't win in 2020 we could see 4 years wasted.

The Supreme Court could be the last bastion for those who lean Conservative.
Trump seems to be doing this now with Obama's administration. While in my opinion, Obama has done more harm for me than good, the one thing I liked that he did was remove the sanctions of Cuba. I got friends that already had set up plans for allowing Cuban cigars to be traded between the US and Cuban businesses, and it looked really promising. But then Trump overturned that ruling, and messed everything up. I honestly don't think Trump or the USA gives a crap about Cuba. And why should there be sanctions against Cuba for being a dictator country but it's OK for the US to make trade deals with China and Saudi Arabia when they have a much worse track record for human rights?
