Democrats on Capitol Hill go on an exotic safari to their home states and discover, much to their surprise (and consternation, I'm sure), that their bases don't give a flying fig about the Russian brouhaha.
"...rank-and-file Democrats say the Russia-Trump narrative is simply a non-issue with district voters, who are much more worried about bread-and-butter economic concerns like jobs, wages and the cost of education and healthcare...“We can't just talk about Russia because people back in Ohio aren't really talking that much about Russia, about Putin, about Michael Flynn,” Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) told MSNBC Thursday. “They're trying to figure out how they're going to make the mortgage payment, how they're going to pay for their kids to go to college, what their energy bill looks like. “And if we don't talk more about their interest than we do about how we're so angry with Donald Trump and everything that's going on,” he added, “then we're never going to be able to win elections.”

Democrats, the MSM, and the Trump deranged all got taught this lesson yet again with the two stunning losses by the Democrats in suburban Atlanta & suburban Charlotte.
The Russia nonsense isn't working for the Democrat party. I hope they keep it up.
(and they now all are avoiding the topics where they had predicted a Democrat win.)
I know it may make no sense to Trumpists, but sometimes what is good for the nation may not resonate politically..at first. Those that argue that Russian meddling into our electoral process should be ignored, not investigated or dealt with evidence contempt for our democracy and rule of law. It is utterly pathetic.

Great post. So much sense.
If only Trumpers could let go of their anger and vindictiveness. But they can't.

Most Americans are concerned about Russian meddling in our elections. What we're tired of is the insistence by the left that Trump colluded with the Russians. Trump welcomed the investigation, remember?

...and that it's all a lot of bunk. Normal people know Russia didn't change the outcome of the election one whit, and that hysterical Democrats are simply making fools of themselves. Again.

Who was in charge of cyber security during the election? Who was charged with preventing foreign agents from hacking into our systems in 2015 and 2016? A private citizen, or the man in charge of the executive branch of the United States? Now, who was the president in 2016?

Oh it resonates. What a lot of people understand is the Russian fairy tale is a bold faced lie pushed by the MSM, Democratic politicos and the rabid left.
It's all political bs. GA should have taught you folks people are tired of your lies.

The question is who is in charge now.
