Which rights do you think transgenders should(n't) have?

Long poll, but it seems like people have different things in mind when "transgender rights" are discussed.

By "public businesses", I meant government agencies - oops.

Same as every person: just follow the non-aggression principle and respect private property rights.

Your rights are the same as others. Exercise your rights until they butt up against someone else's rights.

1) "We have a right to use whichever bathroom we choose!" Well, the person who is ACTUALLY that gender has a right to feel safe and comfortable in the bathroom they have been using since they were a child. And since they were there first, you're out of luck.

2) "I believe I am a woman!" Well, you can BELIEVE anything you want, but that doesn't mean you have the right to force the rest of us to go along with it. If someone told me they believed they were the reincarnation of Gandhi, I'd smile and keep it moving. But I'm not getting on Facebook and telling everyone about the time I met Gandhi.

3) "I deserve a wedding cake for my trans/gay/whatever wedding!" Well, you may deserve on, but you only have a right to one if you can bake it yourself. If a black baker doesn't have to make a cake for a KKK rally or one with a little black figure hanging from a noose (I'd love to see the left's reaction though), then a Christian baker doesn't have to make a cake for your trans/gay/whatever event.

Your rights aren't absolute.

And how would you feel if you were born in the opposite gender you're in now???

I'm always interested in when someone takes such a hard, mean response but never thinks of what if you were in their shoes. I know I'd be miserable as a man. I'm a girl through and through.

I wish people weren't so judgmental.

Simple question:

If you are a man: If a transgender woman (sexually a male, but identifies as a woman) walks into a men's restroom, what would your reaction to that be?

If you are a woman: If a transgender man (sexually a female, but identifies as a man) walks into a women's restroom, what would your reaction to that be?

If you have an issue with them using the restroom of their gender, what do you recommend they do? Not go to the bathroom?

By the way, I'm being 100% sincere - this is not a "gotcha" question. These are the scenarios that transgender people face every single day. Have some empathy and think of their situation.
