Comedian Stephen Colbert appeared on a Russian talk show Friday night and announced that he is considering a run for president in 2020 and would welcome Russian help “in an unofficial capacity.”
“I am here to announce that I am considering a run for president in 2020, and I thought it would be better to cut out the middle man and just tell the Russians myself,” Colbert said on Evening Urgant, a popular late-night show hosted by Ivan Urgant that airs on state-run TV.
Colbert, what an idiot. I used to think he was smart and funny but all his show has turned into is one big critique and bash of Trump.
The Russian people must think we are idiots to allow some late night TV show guy to trash talk our leader.
So what type of help from the Russians is Colbert planning on?
Financial? there was nothing for Trump.
Hacking of voting machines? Didn't happen according to the Dems and couldn't happen according to Obama.
Campaign advice? I can help with that, reach out to people with a message they can understand and don't call any group no matter how big "Deplorable".
Help from Russian internet trolls? They didn't have to plant fake stories of how terrible Hillary was because that was the truth for all with eyes to see.
SO what kind of help is Colbert hoping to get from the Russian?
