It's clickbait and the mods let them get away with it.

This is exactly right. And for those who don't know the difference, I won't resort to Godwin's law, but you really should educate yourselves on what types of leaders use nationalism to gain popularity and the type of government such movements create.

Never thought it was logical that I should automatically think America is "the best in the world" just because I happened to be born here. That said, I live here, so of course I want the nation to do well.

The better question is why do people seem to think it's unpatriotic just to recognize a bad decision or opportunity for improvement? I guess by that standard, you're showing your hatred of your family each time you correct your dad's memory? Tell your mom dinner last night wasn't her best work? Laugh at your brother's bad free throw? Geez.

These same people who are the first to say, "America's the best country in the world because it's free" love to turn around and tell people they can't criticize XYZ otherwise they aren't really patriots. Last I remember, the founding fathers didn't fight so we can idolize another king. It was so we can freely criticize and protest every decision that affects our wellbeing.

There's a clear distinction between patriotism and nationalism. Learn the difference.

In regards to humanitarian aid, America is like that douche-y rich kid in grade school who is just trying to buy everyone's friendships. America also has a penchant for turning away aid from other countries when disaster strikes here.

Yep, I wanted Bernie Sanders, before he went belly-up for Clinton.

But of course brain-dead TRUMP- have no clue what that is!

And we certainly know who the Fascist is!
Trump is a walking, talking TWIT, who tweets daily with accusations towards others for what HE REPRESENTS ! So, IF he accuses someone of anything, then it's been shown over and over again, that it is actually HIM who was/is doing what he accuses others of doing!! This also is being indicated that his whole Family that sit at his right hand are also exhibit A, B, C, in that they too are slowly but surely being investigated for what he accuses others of doing!!

Trump will no doubt end up sinking his authority on many levels. GOP Politicians will soon start jumping Trump's Ship as the next election cycle is almost upon them!! IF there's anything less important to these politicians wanting all the perks of elected office.. IS to walk off the cliff for the leader who "Pied Piper" tweets them off the perk/benefit filled job working in Congress

BTW~~ I have not heard one pundit or so called liberal state anything "Unpatriotic" !! On the contrary, they call out whomever acts against American Values ( obviously interpreted differently by C-D posters). Calling out horrific behaviour is NOT particularly affiliated to any side.

Almost the entire Republican party acted against President Obama for 8 years.

They are not patriotic. They are control freaks.
