To each their own. Funny thing, is I'm following a similar type of thread on a flashlight enthusiast page on FB. The poster was floored that anyone would spend $1400 on a flashlight, and couldn't fathom why when you can get a flashlight for a few dollars.
Just want to point out this isn't a paperclip... it's a money clip shaped like one. That's a pretty "normal" price for what is essentially a wallet for some people within the luxury world. Is that reasonable? IDK, depends on how much money you have and how you want to spend it but if you're used to spending $500-1000 for a wallet, I suspect this isn't a big deal.
