Government 101; The City Council passes laws then LE enforces the laws. Councilman Allen doesn't understand that if he doesn't want kids arrested for selling water, he should be voting to change his laws. It really is that simple. But then, without this law, Councilman Allen would lose this opportunity to cry racism and berate LE for enforcing his laws.
-------------
In the letter, Allen wrote he believes the officers' actions would've been different if it were different children who were operating a lemonade stand in the same location.
"While still the same violation of selling a beverage without proper permits and licenses," Allen wrote. "I doubt we would have seen little girls in pigtails handcuffed on the ground."

Of course the real problem is governments telling people who can sell bottled water. But, they have to keep their death grip on the citizens.

a bottle of water sold by an unlicensed teen is a bottle of water not sold by a campaign contributing licensed seller. The "big?" boys do not want the competition. They pay politicians a lot to keep their monopoly in place.

Let me guess, the politician is either gay, black or a liberal. This has to be the alleged crime according to the Trump cult.
I have no idea what his skin color is, what his politics are and what his sexual preference is.

Your bias is obvious. Do you also blame bad weather on Trump?

BTW, he's not defending the kids. He's attacking LE for enforcing his stupid law.

And who said it was important news?

This is true. There should be no licensing required for anybody to sell water.
