Just remember that there are millions of us out here who didn't vote for Trump, and have no access to group insurance, who are going to suffer right along with all the imbeciles who voted for the assh*le con man.
Jams, I am very sorry. I sincerely wish this mess of a plan impacted only the idiots who voted for Trump.
Remember folks ... Cruz, Lee, and Paul will change their votes to yes once it's amended to screw over even more people. They are opposed because it's not mean enough for them.
Heller and Collins are the only truly committed no's. We need one more to kill Wealthcare.
Not really, the bill isn't mean enough for Rand, Ted Cruz and Lee so all they have to do is promise to throw a few more people under the bus and they will vote yes. The ones I'm waiting for are Lisa Murkowski and Capito. Ordinarily I would expect Capito to vote for it, but she's gonna have some explaining to do if she votes to cut medicaid, 30% of families in WV receive their healthcare through it.
Thanks for the correction. I was watching someone say it would be really difficult to change it in a way that would turn Rand without losing other moderates. Like what he's asking for would fundamentally change the bill. It'll be interesting to see what other changes they come up with.
Prediction: Republicans will pass it anyway. They know the more people find out about the bill, the worse it gets. They will pass this anyway.
I'm not so sure about that, a considerable number of Republican senators come from states that accepted the Medicaid expansion funding.
If Murkowski joins Heller and Collins, I think they will just drop it and move on to "tax reform" (aka more handouts for billionaires). This is their do or die moment on healthcare.
I hope enough Republicans speak out. I have Republican friends that are not for this bill. We need to start looking at things as Americans and not just as Democrats or Republicans.
I support Medicare for everyone. This bill is terrible. But socialism, tax cuts, strong military rah rah rah.
Those of you that didn't see this coming and voted for Trump are blind.
