I live in city and state that has passed this $15 min wage law .
Prices at places have risen significantly and the wage isn't even close to $15 .

Liberals are really playing games with the economy .

Article mentions that Eric Garcetti told concerned small business owners

"I feel confident that you can absorb the cost."

"As for the mayor of Los Angeles, it should be noted that he worked on a Ph.D.at the London School of Economics. But at this famed institute, Garcetti did not study economics. He studied "ethnicity and nationalism.""

That place is the hub of stupidity from the far far left.

To say that prices won't rise because of this new law here in Ca is just folley. Not sure how many jobs will be lost, but they are a coming with the advent of all of these kiosks and things along those orders.

People need to get some advanced skills and not rely on a HS education to try live and raise a family.

COLD. HARD. TRUTH.

Keep in mind the liberal agenda is to destabilize society and the economy is one part of that.

Ethnicity and nationalism are a nice couple walking hand in hand for the same purpose. Destabilization. Its a political ideology.

If you are a landlord and you know renters have more money in their pockets, why wouldn't you raise the rent? The only way to prevent that from happening is to have more rentals, and that's not what is happening. Problem is politicians are in charge of the economy.

Republicans are fine with billion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy, but give struggling workers a raise in pay and they scream like little girls.

No, I said that anything UC Berkeley puts out is suspect. Common sense tells us that prices have to increase.

Hell, prices increase with inflation alone, why wouldn't they with a large uptick in payroll

I mean this is commons sense 101.

Nothing to do with Larry Elder here.

Actually the problem is landlords don't want more housing to be built. The more housing supply there is the more prices go down

A classic perverse incentive, artificial scarcity
