I would love for America to succeed. I didn't vote for Trump but I still wanted him to succeed for the benefit of the country. He is not succeeding in making America great again.
What exactly has he achieved besides SCOTUS and getting our internet privacy removed?
I wanted to se Obama's policies not get enacted. That's all. I'd like to se Trump's polices get put into place. As far as individuals go, I really don't particularly like either. In fact, I don't like most politicians as individuals.
Your poll is ridiculously slanted. I want America to succeed, which is for some reason not an option. I'm either required to say America should fail or Trump should succeed, and I'm not necessarily concerned with or in favor of either.
If Trump fails, so be it. We're a republic; we're afforded some degree of failure from our leadership. It's why we have a vote every few years. When we felt we've made a mistake, we vote in someone else.
Basically, regardless of your political position, if you think this kind of fallacious logic is "smart" or "valid", you are stupid.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Let's see. Do I want to burn my house down, or do I want the arsonist to be successful?
The answer is neither. I don't want the U.S. to fail and I don't want Trump to succeed.
